Bill lived opposite me in Young Street Annandale when I was a kid. He used to play footy with us kids kicking a plastic football across for us to catch. Good bloke and very good footballer. Replaced by Les Johns who became the Test fullback.

He now lives in Mt Gravatt in Queensland
