Reg Bowden what a fabulous scrum half and driving force behind Widnes 1970s and 80s. I used to love watching that Widnes teams of that era. Yes there were quicker players, bigger players and better stoppers but no one could match the way Reg drove that team on and on like an unstoppable force. Fantastic memories of great games and trophy wins. The magical ingredient that makes a sporting team a great one. Leadership
