Biography

Corrimal forward played in St George's historic win over P’matta in the 1977 grand final replay. Jansen was a big, pacy prop (his length of the field chase of Cronulla's Steve Rogers in a club match in the late 1970s is one great memory of him) but knee problems wrecked his 1979 season when the Dragons again won the premiership. On his retirement Jansen moved into coaching with St George and Illawarra.
