Biography
Newtown prop's three Test appearances were against France in 1955 after representing NSW that year. Holloway later moved to Queensland where the burly, knockabout prop achieved cult status with Brisbane fans. In 1959 he played for Queensland against both NSW and NZ during the State's record-breaking season under Clive Churchill and later became a respected captain-coach in his own right. In 1965 he took Redcliffe to the club's only win in the Brisbane premiership before coaching Valleys to an 18-11 grand final win over Norths in 1970. Holloway passed away in Brisbane in 1999, aged 67.

Your history omitted 1958 when he captained and coached Waratah Mayfield in the Newcastle Rugby League competition.
