Frank Foster was a Hull KR legend and the toughest person to pull on a Rovers jersey. He was a fine footballer.

I remember a game in the mid sixths when rovers came to the boulevard to play Hull there was no love lost between frank foster and hulls Alan mcglone they were niggling each other the entire game In one of many incidents the hull player head butted Frank who went down but got up immediately covered in blood with a terrible gash over his eye and promptly laid mcglone out with one punch talk about hard men
