Biography
Souths captain, a NSW centre in the code’s first season, led the club to victory over Easts in the first premiership final played. Conlin landed a goal that proved to be the difference in the club’s 14-12 win. A versatile backline player at fullback, centre and five-eighth, Conlin again captained the Rabbitohs to win the 1909 premiership - on forfeit - after Balmain controversially decided not show for the final.
