Hull KR were forced to end their season early, announcing on Monday the 2nd of November that they would be unable to fulfil any of their remaining fixtures. This announcement was made leading up to their Round 20 fixture against Warrington at Headingley and was due to numerous positive COVID-19 test results within their playing bubble.

Three of their players had tested positive, two had inconclusive results and five had to self isolate. Further to that issue, the club had 9 players unavailable at the time due to injury.
