Match Notes

Salford were placed under a £1.25 million pound sustainability salary cap after failing to have their takeover approved. As a result of "not wanting to introduce first team players and reserve on a bus", coach Paul Rowley named a reserves team for this game against St Helens. The 82-0 result was their largest loss in Super League ever.
