West Bowling were initially drawn to host Wath Brow Hornets in this fixture, however it was confirmed on 6 Jan 2025 that the Hornets withdrew from the fixture citing training rule concerns and a lack of preparation. Leading the Pennine League Division One table at the time, the RFL invited Cutsyke Raiders to fill the void at short notice. Match originally scheduled for Saturday 11 January, postponed due to frozen pitch.
