Match Notes
Game was to be played under lights, but on the day of the match, Ipswich RL officials contacted the Papua-New Guinea team to tell them that the match would have to be cancelled. Ipswich offered to play the game the following week, but the visitors could not accept as their flight back home was departing earlier. As the PNG team were based in Redcliffe, a game was hastily organised on the day between Redcliffe and PNG.
