The Rothmans Rugby League Yearbook 1991/92 does not list "Lloyd" in the Rochdale Hornets' player register for the season. Also, Lloyd is definitely not a misspelling of Lord - the Manchester Guardian issue of 4 March 1991 also indicates that two tries were scored by "Lloyd".
