Arthur Beetson, Allan McMahon & Denis Fitzgerald pulled out of the teams at the medical on Tuesday they were replaced by Graham Olling, Brian Hetherington & Ray Higgs with Steve Thompson the new reserve. Then on Friday Graham Eadie & Terry Randall dropped out and were replaced by Garry Dowling & Craig Young.
Len Casey was sent off for attacking the head of an opponent 12 mins into the 2nd half.
