Match Notes
This match was called off after a Sunshine Coast player James Ackerman suffered a serious head injury in the 5th minute, due to a shoulder charge from Francis Molo. Ackerman was rushed to hospital where he later tragically passed away. The QRL announced that this match would be declared a draw. Molo received a 9 week suspension.
