    going by all the old newpaper reports Trevor was a great player of his time, top lock forward and great cover defender.
    1949 Central Newcastle won comp. 1950 St George. 1951 Cptn Coach at Rockhampton Brothers won comp. C.C. Central
    Qld against Frenchmen. 1952 Cptn Coach Ingham Brothers won comp. C.C. North Qld against NZ. Rep for Qld V NSW .. lost 27-10. 1953 Cptn Coach Townsville. 1954 Cptn Coach Kurri Kurri. 1958 Cptn Coach Aberdeen.

    I remember Trevor Whitehead when he was captain/coach of Aberdeen and had the top pub in town. He wasnt a tall man but very solid and I still have vivid memories of his great cover defence and ball playing ability
