    Growing up in Redfern, Dad also played for Souths. He moved to Norths when he got married and moved across the harbour with mum. He remained a life long Souths supporter.

    Uncle Bill was a champion bloke on and off the field. He introduced my parents to each other.

    Bill always said that his youngest boy was the best league player in the family and always considered him to be his favorite son.
