I worked the Ken Ashcroft at Sargents Bakeries Darlinghust for a good part of my apprenticeship I worked under Ken in the 1960s would love to catch and make contact with Ken if possible

I also was an apprentice fitter at garter ell white cakes where Kenny worked as a pastry cook, he was a good friend of my father and he gave me my first easts jersey in 66 when I was 3, still have it today. Last time I saw Kenny was at the narrabeen markets maybe 10 years ago and at that stage he was living on the northern beaches

I still remember my dad always talking about how good Ken Ashcroft was as a hooker and someone you could rely on every game.
He would say "he has heart,"
Winning most of the scrums.
The good old days as my dad would say now when it was a tough game.

Remember the day at the old Sports Ground when Ken won 21 straight scrums against Ian Walsh who was the Australian hooker at the time. St.George still won , but Ken was a clever competitor. A pastry cook I believe.

Ken Ashcroft is my cousin, he lost his wife Jennifer some years ago. I have not had any contact with him for some time but know he still lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Ken is my cousin, have not been in contact with him for years, he lived at Warriewood on northern beaches. His wife Jennifer passed away a few years ago.
