Biography
One of four Brown brothers to play with Canterbury (Alan, Kevin and Gordon) Col Brown started his career as a lock forward before progressing to hooker. Playing in Canterbury's 1967 grand final loss to Souths, Brown is remembered for throwing the lofted pass that resulted in the intercept try to Souths' second rower Bob McCarthy.
