Biography
Newtown halfback, originally from St George’s RU ranks, captained the club’s reserve grade to premiership titles in 1970 and 1974. O’Connor led Newtown to win the 1973 pre-season final and following his retirement, acted as Club Treasurer in the early 1980s.
