Biography
Speedy winger was often underrated in a champion Easts backline during the mid-1970s. Pickett was a try-scorer in the Roosters' thrashing of St George in the 1975 grand final.

very fast winger who could score tries anywhere should have made rep sides

Great player. ,his try in the 1975 grand final is a classic. Injuries stopped his representative call up.A great player & a better person

Very underrated. Lightning fast but struggled to get a game Bill Mullins and wunderking Ian Schubert locking down the wing positions. Russell Fairfax breaking his leg in an Amco Cup fixture gave his li tied opportunity. Could have been a superstar at another club.
