A100% team player never stopped tackling and taking the ball forward, very underestimated when it came to international recognition. Charlie had the unique ability to strike at the ball during the play the ball by the opposing player (It was allowed then) frequently regaining possession for Hull F.C. Charlie was idolized by Hull F.Cs 3penny stand. Thanks for the memories Mr. Charlie Stone. Take care you and yours Bill L. and Families ALL 3P Standers.

he was the best defence forward in the game and would be great in the super league
