I am a lifelong Hull FC supporter. Firstly I remember seeing Pepi playing in the reserves and how exciting he was. I think this kid was one of the fastest people who played the game. It's a shame injury ended his short career.

Initially, I remember seeing "Pepi" in the "A" Team. He was electric, showing tremendous acceleration and speed. He was easily the fastest player in the Hull Team and I think one of the fastest players I have ever seen. Yes, after making the 1st team he got injured (I think against Warrington), and that injury robbed him of what would have been a great career.

I knew Pepi at the time of this injury, he was a great lad! He did get injured playing for the club against Warrington, I was there and saw it happen. Prior to this he was running rings around the great Des Drummond! But, it was a major shoulder injury and from the club, he never received the treatment or support he needed to recover; it was very different in those days! This and other experiences left him feeling very disillusioned with the management at Hull FC and although he loved the club, he never returned to playing for them. Last time I heard he was studying a PhD at University.

Did very well eventually from not being given the physio and treatments he needed to continue his career with hull fc. Or being able to continue and provide for his family and son. It’s a shame football players get paid ££££ and rugby players relaid on a full time job plus playing rugby as a pro but got paid nothing in comparison for it

I am a Hull FC supporter and knew Pepi very well at the time he played for Hull. I know how much he loved playing for the club and the people of Hull. I once saw him run a 100m race against Paul Eastwood (Great Britain winger) at Costello Stadium and he beat him by maybe 10 metres, he had fantastic pace! But after getting injured against Warrington and receiving no support from Hull FC, he became disallusioned and never played for Hull again. Anyway, the last time I saw him he had just finished a Masters Degree at Hull University and was going on to do a Phd!

Another local lad who had great speed and ability. With some help he may have recovered from injury and regained his love for Hull FC. But, he was treated badly and "we" lost another player who could have been extra special!

I remember watching Pepi playing for Hull. I was 19 and me and my friends had such a crush on him...such a beautiful man! Injury took him and both denied him a great career and stopped me and many other girls fantasing about him.
