The youngest and probably most talented of four Kelly brothers, Richard succumbed to injuries and despite making his debut as a 17 year old he couldn't fullfill his huge potential. A talented ball handler, he also had a great step off either foot and was a fearsome defender. He played alongside Wally Lewis during his short spell at Wakefield Trinity as well as other notable stars such as Mark Graham, Steve Ella, Ray Price and James Leuluai.
