    Ian Daintith was at st Helen’s from 1986 to 1989 making one first team appearance v Wigan at Central Park plus two substitute appearances.
    He also made 14 appearances and several as a substitute . Spending almost 7 seasons as a professional dogged by Often serious injuries culminating in him having to retire as a professional at the age of 26 having first signed from Great Britain U19,s
