Biography

Former Balmain centre/winger scored three tries in Bradford’s 37-6 thrashing of Wigan in the English Super League grand final in 2001. He later played in the Bradford Bulls’ Super League grand final-winning team in 2003.

Michael Withers was so important to Bradford Bulls. He was known as Mr Reliable. I appreciated his skill as a rugby player so much that I bought a Bulls shirt with ‘Withers 6’ on the back. I’ve just thrown it away as it was falling apart. I now live in Melbourne, Australia, and am a Premier Club Member at Melbourne Storm.
