Redvers McCabe scored 13 tries from 12 appearances for Fulham during the 1989-1990 season

Saw Red McCabe play in London against Halifax. Scored 2 amazing length of the field tries. He was talented.

Red McCabe was a Glenora Bear and Mt Albert Lion

Red had a great sense of purpose on and off the field. Very talented. Lovely balance on his feet and speed to burn. Once he got on your outside it was " shut the gate". Those two tries against Fax were all class.

I was a sponsor of Redvers McCabe. He was a talented player on the field and had a friendly personality off the filed. He was popular with the local fans. He should have played for the Kiwis really.

I saw Red McCabe play a fine game against Oldham in 1990.
He had a tough game marking Charlie McAlister but managed 2 fine breaks in the match both leading to tries. He was popular with the supporters & was a friendly chap.

Red McCabe was an entertaining player. Great sense of timing in the backline & good speed. Good on defence also. Should have gone on to more.

Red was popular with the supporters. Always entertaining on the field and a gentleman off the field. Great speed & skill.

Saw Red McCabe play a few times at Chiswick ground. Good all round defensive player & scored some great long range tries. Enjoyed the 2 tries against Halifax & also the 80m try against Oldham. Talented player.

Red McCabe was an exciting player to watch. Defensively sound and was very fast. Saw his 2 tries against Halifax when he played for Fulham.
