Is it true that Tom made a fake pass to the flagman runnig alongside him who was then tackled by the oppesed wing.?

Best rugby winger I ever saw.He was magic, and scored tries from impossible situations.Conducted himself on and off the field with respect and admiration ,and had qualities which other wingers sought.I cannot describe how great he was,any attempt by me to do so would not describe and inform persons who never saw him play.He was signed by ST.HELENS from South African Union, where he was an international, and it is sad that there is only a few videos of him,to show youngsters.See Wembley 1960.Thanks Tom,RIP.
