Biography
Another in the long line of mobile forwards with high work-rates that were favoured by coach Jack Gibson during the 1980s. Sharp was a reserve in Parramatta's first grand final win in 1981 but played in the second row in the club's grand final wins against Manly in the next two years. Sharp was a reserve in the Eels' loss to C’bury in the 1984 grand final and had the distinction of scoring the first try at the newly built P’matta Stadium in the opening match against St George in 1986.
