Biography

Wests prop, a standout performer for the struggling W’Tigers club, represented City Origin in 2002 and 2004. The club’s 30-16 grand final victory was a just reward for Skandalis’ efforts.

The best prop never to have played State of Origin for NSW. A real travesty!

Very unlucky to miss out on an Australian jersey at the end of his standout 2005 season with the Wests Tigers. History will show that Australia lost that series and desperately needed some new blood, such as Skandalis. The Kangaroos coach stayed with his favourites, lost, and was dismissed soon after.
