Biography
Norths winger played for NSW in the first ever interstate match before touring with the 1908-09 Kangaroos. Morton had the honour of scoring the first try by an Australian player in England (against Mid-Rhondda). His sole Test appearance was in the Second Test against England but he scored 30pts (4t, 9g) in another 22 matches on tour. Morton stayed in England to play with Hull for two seasons before returning to Norths.
