Biography
Penrith junior already had a taste of first grade experience before captaining the Under 23s to the club's first premiership title in 1978. A speedy backline player, Blacklock later went to Newtown as part of the Jets’ rebuilding program and played on the wing in the club’s 1981 grand final loss to P’matta. The veteran speedster saw out his career with the Raiders in 1983-84.

Could anybody tell me where Ray Blacklock was Born or where he spent his childhood.

Ray spent a lot of his childhood in St Marys and played with the ranks up to A grade before going to Penrith

Ray was born in Oberon in NSW and his family settled in the St Marys/Penrith area

Did Ray ever go to Mudgee High School and play at about age 17?

I was lucky enough to play with Ray at StMarys High and win both Penrith & State knock out comp.7stone 7 believe or not 1969, went to find records but all lost in fire, pity, was great mate & guy alround,Rip.
