What a exceptionally talented player.........unfortunately didn't, have the application and dedication to promote his skills and ability in a more effective maner. Scared the hell out of opposing players in Group 9 NSW Country whilst playing for Wagga Magpies R.L.F.C.

I played with bill hardy in a wagga rep team against st George in 1989 he smashed there whole forward pack one after the other they fair dinkum didn’t want the ball for 20 minutes then Bill went off for a rest then they scored there first try. In group nine Bill made a lot of blokes learn how to side step

Bill Hardy is a terrific fellow. He has a wickedly brilliant mind who writes his own songs.Always approachable, ,when you talk to Bill you are left in awe at his achievements and a huge smile on your face.Never tire of him recalling his days on the field.An absolute Legend. Cheers Bill.

Great player, just watched his try in the Manly vs Rabbits semi in 84 off a Neil Baker bomb. Magic stuff. Met him years later singing at Deepwater and Emmaville his old town. Top bloke.
