Biography

P’matta junior, English-born but who immigrated to Australia as a six-year-old, played with the London Broncos (1996-01) after stints with Penrith and the Eels. Tollett, who holds dual citizenship, toured Papua New Guinea, Fiji and NZ with the British Lions in 1996 but did not play in a Test. A recurring shoulder injury ended his career in 2001.

    I remember a young Tulsen living opposite Emu Plains Public School in the mid 80s. He had his old man set up goalposts in the backyard so he could practice his conversions and the rest of his craft as a junior, which he did religiously everyday, rain, hail or shine. He was always going to run out on the big stage with that commitment.
