Biography
Dashing Moree halfback was a reluctant winner of the Rothmans Medal with C’bury in 1991. A naturally gifted player with a great turn of pace McGrady did not seem as comfortable in defence at fullback the following year and he shifted to Wests in 1994.

in 1991 at his peak ewan mcgrady was in my opinion arguably the best player ever in broken play the most entertaining player of his time

ewan was 27 when went sydney and win best player the next year astonishing! ......just brilliant! ......for someone to move from bush from an aboriginal mission will never be repeated ....imagine if he had made move to sydney in his teenage years?

Absolute brilliant player in the early 90s. Just an electric enigmatic unpredictable player. However he only hung around a few years. Was a reluctant star who then disappeared back to the bush shunning the limelight.

Pretty sure Ewan was born in Goondiwindi and grew up in Toomel ah Boggabilla across the NSW Border from Goondiwindi?
