Biography

St George five-eighth in the 1992 grand final came to the club from Brisbane Valleys. Coyne, who played for Halifax in 1988-89, was a wiry customer but could not come to terms with the Dragons in 1993 and signed with English club Castleford.

Peter is the greatest footy player in Australian history. He is beloved by many including the boys of Churchie. He may of remained scoreless in Australia, but when he move to the wretched grounds of England he scored the most amazing 5 tries we as a Peter Coyne fan base have ever seen.

Greatest NRL player of all time. Completely changed the dynamic of the dragons for the better. Greatest footy player of all time who managed to organize an NRL team and specialist mathematics in one lifetime.

He is the greatest mathematics methods teacher known to man and even better in his prime days of rugby. A great person overall.
