Biography
Glebe RU forward first represented NSW in 1912 before touring NZ with the Wallabies the following year. O’Donnell played in two internationals against the Kiwis but turned to the professional code to play with Glebe in 1915. After three seasons in the Sydney premiership he moved to Brisbane to play with the Carltons club and represented Queensland. O’Donnell became a dual international when he was selected to tour NZ in 1919 and he played in all four Tests against the Kiwis. In 1923 he returned to Sydney to play the final year of his career with defending premiers Norths before retiring at the age of 37.
