Biography

Fijian RU convert (1986-91) was signed by Canberra coach Tim Sheens after playing for Fiji in the 1993 Nissan World Sevens. Nadruku made a tremendous impact in his first season, scoring a club record 22 tries and being named 'Dally M' Winger of the Year. The following year he broke his hand playing for Fiji in the World Sevens tournament but recovered to take his place in the Raiders' grand final win over C’bury. Nadruku playing in his country's 20-12 win over France in Suva in July 1994 and in the 1995 World Cup. The Raiders sacked Nadruku for an off-field incident in 1998 but Tim Sheens, the club’s former coach, gave him a lifeline at North Queensland where he spent two seasons.

    Noa is taller than the 174cm stated in the stats. I am a cousin and am 173cm and much shorter than him. He stands at around at least 182 or more from my estimate. Photos should prove this. I have often wondered where this information was obtained from (his passport, Fiji newspapers?) because I first saw the error in the Fiji newspapers at the start of his career. Hope this is rectified.

    I met Noa when he played for the Raiders. I am 173 cm tall, Noa was taller by several inches. I agree he would be around 180cm tall.

    Noa is 173cm! I don;t know where you;re getting your info from guys but he is on the money at that height! I should know I work with him.
