Biography

Halifax forward made 8 Test appearances for Great Britain before immigrating to Australia to play for Newtown after the 1968 World Cup. Renilson captain-coached the club's reserve grade team to the premiership in 1970 before seeing out his career with Easts. He later served as a member of the Metropolitan Selection Committee during the 1990s.

    Very interesting i knew the name, my dad was scotch the interest was infectious and my mate Jim Mills played alongside him with Halifax, I had a spell in Australia in the seventies with Wollongong, big regret not going back to Australia, but that is life as they say, been back a few times, its the nicest place on earth in my opinion. Amen
