tuiyo is a legend, a demi god in rugby league in png...this was confirmed on his death with the number of people who came to show their last respect,people came from all over the country.he has a great following and draws people to every game he plays.people still talked about his game long after his death.he is one of the best rugby league player of all time that png has ever produced.

He represented PNG in basketball in Pacific Games and played in Kumul prior to 1988. He played in 1986

best PNG Kumuls player of all time saw him smashed Tawera Nikau in 1994 PNG vs NZ and also broke Mal Maningas hand.

Last watched Tuiyo Evei on EMTV when PNG Kumuls played against France Roosters in 1994. Tuiyo scored two in a row. The first try was scored under the post with two opponents hanging on him while the second try was scored beside the post. He was already famous at that time.

Tuiyo was given a title demi god of rugby league in PNG. He was the greatest forward who has the speed and abilities to perform even greatest performance with a huge number of fans that liked and followed his game styles. One of the greatest legends ever known in rugby league history.
