Biography

Norths fullback, a highly consistent goal-kicker, was the leading point-scorer in the club’s history until surpassed by Jason Taylor in the mid-1990s. Arkey jointly holds the record for the most goals in a single match (10 against Wests in 1953 and Easts in 1954) with Taylor (1999), Fred Griffiths (1963), Peter Inskip (1972) and Noel Cavanagh (1969).
