    I played with Charlie at Warrington and then moved to St Helens. He was a feared player respected by all and taught me how to play the game.

    I watched Charlie Winslade at Oldham what a player and a great player in a great team. Should have had more caps for Great Britain. The Aussies wouldn't know how to deal with his trade mark Shoulder Charge tackle. Superb!! Regards Frank Schofield
