Bluey was a real inspiration to me as a teenager. For years he regularly picked me up at the corner of our street, every Saturday, and drive me to and from Pratten Park, in Ashfield, for football coaching. I think I learnt more off him on the trip to and fro than on the field. I'm now 72, and I'll never forget the man. RIP Bluey.
