Biography
Newtown centre in the club's 1943 grand final win later played on the wing for NSW in 1945. Jacobsen was the season's leading try-scorer in 1948 with 27 tries but missed selection with the Kangaroos that year. He later captain-coached in Condoblin where he discovered a young hooker named Ian Walsh in 1950.
