Biography
Additional Notes
Larry (Lawrence) O'Malley was born in Ireland on April 2rd, 1883. He came to Australia with his parents and older brother when he was still a baby (they arrived in Jan 1884). Looks like the young Larry was a bit of a tear-away as he spent time aboard on the 'Sobraon' - a training ship for young boys who were hard to control. He retired in 1914 to focus on becoming a referee.
