There was supposed to be a game played between Western Division and Great Britain on June 7 at Forbes. The game was cancelled due to bad weather. The plane with the Great Britain players was meant to land in Parkes where the team was then to be driven to Forbes by bus, however Parkes Airport was closed and the plane was diverted to Wagga Wagga. They waited in Wagga Wagga in hope the plane would be allowed to land in Parkes but eventually they had to return to Sydney.
