Notes
As reported in the The Times newspaper on December 14, 1908, this ground is where the first match between the Northern Union XIII and Australia was held.
At the time the ground was used by Queens Park Rangers, and was apparently the second ground used by that club in Park Royal in London. The first was in the Horse Ring which later became the site of the Guinness Brewery (which was demolished in 2005). The second, this venue, was situated about 400m south.
