Balmain lost Ron Leis, Jeff Shield, Peter Duffy & Jim Fiddler following the Amco Cup game on Wednesday they were replaced by Tim Murphy, Alan Tilbrook, Phil Moase & Alan Mason.
Bill Ashurst left the field just before halftime with a suspected broken collarbone & was replaced by Gary Harvey then Mike Stepheson was carried off with a cheekbone injury midway through the 2nd half and replaced by Wayne Brain.
