Biography

Former All Black (7 Tests) was an ace goal-kicking winger/fullback during Wigan’s championship reign in the early 1990s. Botica returned to NZ with Wigan coach John Monie in 1995 for the Warriors’ debut season but left only one season and saw out his professional career with Castleford in 1996-97. He has since returned to rugby union, playing in Wales, NZ and France.

Best goal kicker I have ever seen the best of the best. That includes Wakefield Trinity Neil Fox, Leeds Lewis Jones, Wigan George Fairburn and Hull FC Sammy Lloyd.
