mick was educated at saint johns college, woodlawn near Lismore, a renowned rugby league school. he scored a spectacular acrobatic try in the northern far corner of brookvale oval by diving high and summersaulting over two tacklers whom dived low. his brother rob who played for South Sydney juniors was a foundation director of the bangarra dance company. uncle mick is a respected gumbaynggirr man from Nambucca. lives sawtell (I believe)

Mick Bryant was in the centres of the winning combination rugby league north coast primary school when we played for macksvulle. Mick was the first Aboriginal to pass the NSW leaving certificate.
He later became a school teacher hen he played for Manly. Find memories of childhood when half our team were aboriginal.

I went to school with Mick, a year or two behind him. Apart from his outstanding footy skills he was an all round champion bloke. I had an idea that Mick coached a country league to the Clayton Cup on at least on occasion. Can anyone confirm that? Thank you.

Mick taught at Lynwood Park primary school near bblacktown 1968. A good positive childhood memory for me.
