Match Notes
Jim Cody dropped out of the Wests team on Saturday and was replaced by Nev Hornery.
Nev Hornery was sent off in the 27th min of the 2nd half for punching an Easts forward in a scrum and 7 mins later Alan McKean was sent off for a "vicious and deliberate stiff arm tackle" on Tony Ford. Hornery was suspended for 8 weeks and McKean 3 weeks.
