Match Notes
Newtown lost second rowers John Oakley & Larry Raleigh late in the week with Joe Vasta coming in at prop and Charlie Renilson moving to 2nd row & Con Ryan the other replacement.
Alan Maddalena retired with blurred vision after 23 min and was replaced by Des O'Connor who moved 5/8 with Bob Keyes going to the centre.
Mick Maher did not return for the 2nd half with concussion and was replaced by John Booby.
